Summer is coming…

Training is back in full swing, great numbers down at the pitch in Azabu, thanks to the Tokyo Goannas for joining a couple of weeks ago. Here’s what’s happening over the next few weeks…

練習の参加者が増え、東京ゴアナーズとの合同練習などもあり、2021年の練習が軌道に乗ってきました。ニュースレターでは、今後のスケジュールなどについて、お伝えします。

Please wear masks when arriving and leaving the pitch and get your temperature checked.

練習以外の時はマスクの着用をお願いします。また、練習前に検温を行いますので、よろしくお願いします。

Parish Cup

We will be holding the first Parish Cup of the year at Yashio Kita Park, Shinagawa Seaside on Thursday 29th April from 5pm to 8pm. This will be the start of the Golden Week holidays so hope to see as many of you down as possible. There will be cans and pints afterwards.

4月29日(木)午後5時～8時、八潮北公園(品川)で今年初となる “Parish Cup” (パリッシュカップ) を行います。ゴールデンウィークの始めですので、皆さんぜひご参加ください。試合の後は、ビールでクールダウンしましょう！

Sports Day 2021

After having to cancel the event last year due to COVID, we hope to be back this year with Japan GAA Sports Day.

Saturday 5th June 8am - 5pm @ Komazawa Olympic Park

昨年はコロナウイルスの影響で中止でしたが、今年はJapan GAAのスポーツデイの開催を予定しています。

6月5日(土) 朝8時～午後5時頃 @駒沢オリンピック公園

Narita PR Sports Event

We will be attending the Narita Sports Tourism Festival and hosting a PR event to showcase the club and teach young kids about GAA. We want to maintain the relationships created with the City and the Mayors Office when we hosted the North Asian Games there in 2019. Also, it is expected that some of the Irish Olympic team will be located there during the games.

The PR event is on Tuesday 4th May from 2pm-5pm at Narita IEON Mall. If you can attend get in touch with Naoko, cheers.

成田スポーツフェスティバルで、GAAとゲーリックフットボールのご紹介、プレーの仕方などを子どもたちに伝えるイベントに参加予定です。成田市には2019年に行われた北アジア大会で大変お世話になり、これからも良い関係を築いていきたいと思っています。また、東京オリンピックではアイルランドのチームが成田市に滞在予定もあります。

イベントは5月4日(火)、午後2時～5時、成田市にあるイオンモールで開催で予定す。興味のある方は尚子にご連絡ください。
